Project Overview
My Master's Degree Project aimed to study patient-experience through ambulatory surgery. Today, patient-experience is a hot topic for various research fields, from social sciences to medicine and management. There is no consensus yet in the literature on its definition and measurement. Taking the patient-experience into account is more relevant than ever, as policy measures, medical technologies expansion and their economic benefits show.
My Role
As part of my end of studies project, I worked as a lead-designer. From research and ideation, to creative conceptualisation, design and user testing. I surrounded myself with healthcare-related experts to guide my work. Care designers, innovation managers, doctors and nurses offered me their professional insights for a better understanding of the medical field.
