Project Overview
FLEXY is a prospective research project by SNCF Innovation & Research department. It is an ultra-light road / rail shuttle tailored to SNCF's less-visited lines not served by trains.
My Role
My role in the team was to design the car dashboard and the overall experience of using the FLEXY.
Brief
FLEXY project was initiated by SNCF Innovation & Research department.

The aim was to design the vehicle dashboard as well as the global experience to get familiar with the vehicle.

Wireframing and prototyping a suitable concept within two weeks.
"How to switch from driving mode to road to rail mode?"
Research
The dimensions of the inside of the vehicle looks alike Citroën Space Tourer.
SNCF suggested our team to base our dashboard design on this vehicle.

We also took inspiration from train cockpit, luxurious, futuristic and contemporary vehicle dashboard.

Car dashboard interface that indicates the transition from road to rail mode.

The app paired with the car dashboard helps the driver and gives advice.
